Took a stroll for lunch along the cliff above the Rideau Canal in Major’s Hill Park and came across these two very young “lovers”. Didn’t ask they why they jumped the fence rather than opting for the 50 acres of grass on my side of the fence. Beautiful day but park was nearly deserted. They could’ve had it all to themselves. Practically.
A different kind of day for me. I left for work on my bicycle at 5:30 like most mornings but this time I forgot my keys and building pass and didn’t realize it until I was 15km into the ride. It meant no access to my locker and no morning shower. And that’s a deal breaker. So I decided to turn around, go home and use one of the two baksheesh vacation days offered us in our last labour negotiation. Later on at lunchtime I caught the bus downtown and wandered The Market with camera in hand where I found these two love birds, oblivious to the world around them. Ain’t love grand? (Yes it is!)
